Get started here on Jon Barron's full body detox program with the Colon Detox (Phase I).

Other than eating a healthy, high fiber, largely raw food diet, the single best thing you can do for your overall health and the health of your colon is a semi-annual colon cleanse.  It is the "sine qua non" of health (literally, "without which, there is not").  

It will remove old fecal matter and waste from the colon, heavy metals and drug residues, strengthen the colon muscle, repair any damage such as herniations and inflammations of the colon and small intestine, eliminate the presence of polyps and other abnormal growths, rebuild "friendly" bacteria cultures that ideally should line virtually every square inch of the tube --  from mouth to anus.

Colon detoxing and intestinal cleansing are the foundation for other phases of the full body detox because if the intestinal tract (and drain pipe) is clogged, many of the toxins being dumped by your liver will back up into your bloodstream, making you feel very unwell, learn more. So, if you are going to do a full body detox, you must start here, with a colon cleanse.
